Most people suffer from adversity at some point in their lives, get depressed and hit rock bottom. Many get suicidal thoughts; some attempt, or commit, suicide. God is Not Fair? is a collection of life stories of seven individuals who went through tough circumstances that would make most people go into depression and wonder whether life was worth living. But they willed themselves to fight back and triumph over their suffering. Through their courageous battles they not only changed the course of their own lives but also transformed the lives of thousands of fellow-travellers. As humans, we have a tendency to blame someone or something when things don't go according to plan. In the absence of any other human to blame, we turn to God, asking, “Why did this happen to me?” But as we move on in life we connect the dots and realize that events occur in our lives for a meaningful purpose. We begin to perceive that God, in his wisdom, IS fair! Depression is a common but serious mood disorder and affects how you feel, think and handle daily activities. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, USA, about 90% of people who commit suicide have a history of depression.
